The idea for The Hoard was born on a cold winter night in January 2023, in the minds of its co-founders, Alexis and Martin.
With very different backgrounds but a long-standing friendship and a shared passion for tabletop role-playing games, they both found themselves at a turning point in their lives, reflecting seriously on their past and what they wanted their respective futures to look like. It was in this context that the idea for The Hoard emerged: a platform where players could find all the accessories needed to enhance their TTRPG sessions.
A platform that wouldn’t focus on maximizing sales of D&D-themed merchandise, but instead on offering high-quality products dedicated solely to improving each player's gaming experience. A platform with a mission to democratize tabletop role-playing games, helping people build stronger connections with one another through play.
After a few months of reflection and planning, in June 2023, The Hoard was officially launched with its first set of products. And that’s where our story begins...
