Among the 13 Characters in the game (plus a Jester), placed in the Castle of Vive le Roi! each player has his 6 Favorites… secret, of course.On his turn, a player simply moves a Character up one floor. If the Character reaches the top, the throne room, the players vote: a unanimous Yes and the Character is crowned King!Each player then scores points according to the position of his Favorites in the Castle, and the round is over. And the game is played in 3 rounds. Is that all? Yes!But the placement and movements of the Characters, the risky management of the King's refusal cards, the manipulation of the other players regarding votes and Favorites, and the permanent interaction, create a unique game of atmosphere, strategy and bluff.Many variations allow you to adapt the game to your desires - more strategic, more devious, more competitive…Vive le Roi ! is as fun and captivating with family as with experts.
